Site Resolution Management Introduction

McCarthy & Associates have been appointed on numerous projects to devise and execute site resolution strategies and represent the interest of multiple stakeholders including local authorities, financial institutes, NAMA, receivers and adjoining landowners.

This involves the Project and Cost management of the remedial works associated with uncompleted residential, commercial and mixed use projects, where the developments are either partial occupied or ghost estates.

We have significant experience in the preparation and implementation of site resolution strategies for unfinished developments ensuring full compliance with 2011 DOE guidelines.

When appointed our first priority is to secure the site in order to ensure it is fully compliant with health and safety regulations.

McCarthy & Associates review the requirements of all stakeholders to fully understand their objectives and will devise a strategy which collectively addresses their individual requirements and priorities.

This includes discussions and negotiations with the local authority to understand the extent of works necessary in order to facilitate the council taking the development in charge and releasing performance bond where applicable.

Where we add significant value is in our ability to take a commercial view on any project. We appreciate that various stakeholders may have conflicting objectives and we focus on achieving compromise which is of mutual benefit.
